RESOLUTION #3
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING ITS WELCOME TO THE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF
PRATT-WHITNEY JET ENGINE PLANT RECENTLY ESTABLISHED IN PALM BEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Village Council of
North Palm Beach, Florida that a site has been recently selected and pur-
chased by Pratt -Whitney in the northwest portion of Palm Beach County, Florida
for development as a Jet Engine Plant, and -
WHEREAS, many officials and employees of said Company will move
into this area as a result of the establishment and development of said
Jet Engine Plant, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council looks with much favor upon the estab-
lishment and development of said Plant and desires to give formal expression
thereto:
NOW THEREFORE, be and it is hereby resolved by the Village Council _
of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
1. That the policy making officials of Pratt -Whitney are highly
complimented and congratulated for their foresight, prudence and vision in
selecting this area for the establishment and development of a Jet Engine
Plant.
2. That a warm and friendly welcome is extended to each and every
one of the officials and employees of Pratt -Whitney and to their families.
3. That the Village Council pledges its whole hearted support
and cooperation to the officials and employees of Pratt -Whitney in helping
and assisting them in such ways and by such means as are available to the
Town.
4. That the Town Clerk send a duly certified copy of this Resolu-
tion to the official head of Pratt -Whitney.
