RESOLUTION #1
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS FOR SUCH VILLAGE.

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 4, Article III of
Chapter 31481, Laws of Florida, Extraordinary Session 1956, the Charter of such
Village, the following persons be and the same are hereby named to the following
offices of such Village:
Charles A. Cunningham Mayor
Richard E. Ross Vice Mayor
John A. Schwencke Village Treasurer
John A. Schwencke Village Tax Assessor
Jay H. White Village Tax Collector
Robert C. Tufford Village Clerk (who shall
also be the Registration
Officer of such Village.)
Section 2. The above named officers shall take and subscribe an oath
before an officer duly qualified to administer oaths that they will faithfully
and impartially execute the duties of their office according to the best of
their ability and understanding, which such oath will then be filed with the
Village Clerk and spread upon the minutes of the Village Council.
Section 3. The above named Mayor and Vice Mayor shall hold office
until their respective successors shall be elected, in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Charter of the Village, and shall qualify. The remaining above
named officers shall hold their respective offices until their successors shall
be appointed and shall qualify and during the pleasure of the Village Council.
Section 4. None of the above named officers are to receive any pay
or emolument of any kind except as shall be provided in a subsequent resolution,
if any, of the Village Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1956.
