A. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC, PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Members of the public may address the Council concerning items on the Consent Agenda or any
non -agenda item. Members of the public who wish to be heard concerning any item listed on the Regular
Session or Workshop Session Agenda may do so when the issue comes up for discussion. Those wishing
to speak should complete a Statement from the Public Card (located at back of Council Chambers) and
submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. Time Limit: 3 minutes

DECLARATION OF EX PARTE COMMUNICATIONS
PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI-JUDICIAL MATTERS
1. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2009-02 — SIGN CODE AMENDMENT
Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2009-02, amending the
sign code regarding ground signs, temporary signs, and political signs.
ACTION
2. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2009-03 —GOLF ADVISORY BOARD
COMPOSITION Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2009-03,
altering the composition of the Golf Advisory Board.
ACTION
3. PUBLIC HEARING AND MOTION — SPECIAL USE PERMIT — DONNINI MOTOR CARS LLC
Consider a motion to approve application for Special Use Permit to allow Donnini Motor Cars, LLC
to operate a limited auto sales brokerage with a limited display area subject to certain conditions
and in accordance with Village policy.

D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro -forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.
1. Receive Minutes of Code Enforcement Board meeting held 1/5/09
2. Receive Minutes of Recreation Advisory Board meeting held 1/13/09
Recommendation: "that the Parks and Recreation Dept. in conjunction with the
Public Safety Dept. make every effort to inform patrons of this incident as well
as the measures to be taken to remedy the problem."
E. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS
1. RESOLUTION — APPLICATION FEE FOR TEMPORARY BANNERS Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution establishing an administrative processing fee of $10 in conjunction
with applications for display of temporary banners within commercial zoning districts.
ACTION
2. RESOLUTION — FLORIDA LEAGUE OF CITIES CIVIC EDUCATION INITIATIVE Consider
a motion to adopt a proposed resolution supporting the "Building Citizenship in the
Community: Back to Basics" initiative of the Florida League of Cities.
ACTION
3. RESOLUTION — AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR GRANT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving the Amendment to Agreement
for Grant Management Services with RMPK Funding, Inc.
ACTION
4. RESOLUTION — BUDGET AMENDMENT AND LOAN PAYOFF Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution authorizing an amendment to the FY 2008-2009 Budget to
transfer funds to pay off an outstanding loan obligation to the Bank of America.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting,
he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties
and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
