VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 1991

Mayor Marks called the Special Meeting to order at 5:00
members of Council and staff were present.
AWARD OF RESTAURANT LEASE RESCINDED

After being notified by Brady, Brady and Abendroth that they were
withdrawing their proposal for leasing the Country Club restaurant,
Councilman Moore rescinded his motion made January 9, 1991 to name
them as the new restaurant lessee. Vice Mayor Gardner rescinded
his second to the motion, and all present voted aye.
Councilman Grinn moved to award the restaurant lease to Armando
Denaro. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Pierman, and
passed 4-1, with Councilman Grinn, President Pro Tem Pierman, Mayor
Marks and Vice Mayor Gardner voting aye, and Councilman Moore
voting nay.
The Council approved the Village Manager's request to conduct a
background check on the other individuals who will be forming a
Florida corporation with Mr. Denaro.
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting
adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
