VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 1991

Kathleen F. Kelly, Village Clerk
Mayor Marks called the Special Session to order at 7:00 p.m. All
members of Council were present. The Village Manager and Village
Clerk were present.
PURPOSE OF MEETING
The purpose of the meeting was to constitute the Council as the
official General Election Canvassing Board for the purpose of
canvassing the vote of March 12, 1991, in accordance with Section
10-25 of the Village Code.
COMPUTER PRINTOUT INSPECTED
The Council inspected the computer printout sheet containing the
election returns, which had been certified by Jackie Winchester,
Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.
TOTAL COUNT OF BALLOTS CAST
The total count of ballots cast in the General Election of March
12, 1991 was 2,340.
For Village Councilman, Group 2:
Thomas F. Kelsey
Al Moore
For Village Councilman, Group 4:
1,174 votes
1,064 votes
V. A. Marks Unopposed

RESOLUTION 10-91 ADOPTED
Councilman Grinn moved to accept and certify the votes of the
General Election of March 12, 1991. Vice Mayor Gardner seconded
the motion, and all present voted aye.
President Pro Tem Pierman moved that Resolution 10-91 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION
HELD ON MARCH 12, 1991
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Grinn, and all
present voted aye.
OATHS OF OFFICE ADMINISTERED
The Village Clerk administered the oaths of Office to the incumbent
Councilman, V. A. Marks, and newly elected Councilman Thomas
Kelsey. These Oaths shall be attached to the official minutes of
this meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.

therein; that I am not directly or indirectly pecuniarily
interested in any public service corporation engaged in business in
the Village of North Paim Beach, or in or with any person or
corporation having contracts with said Village, so help me God.
