12-04-1969 VC PH1-MMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE - VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1969 ' Present: Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Councilman Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: Thomas R. Be11, Vice-Mayor Allan V. Everard, Councilman Herbert A. Watt, Councilman _ Mayor Lewis called the Public Hearing on Bill No. 82 to order ROLL CALL at 7:35 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll. A quorum was not present. Mayor Lewis stated that inasmuch as a quorum was not present, RECESS the Public Hearing would be recessed until such time as a quorum was present to conduct business. Therefore, the Public Hearing was recessed at 7:38 p.m. Mayor Lewis reconvened the Public Hearing on Bi11 No_. 82 PUBLIC HEARING at 8:45 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll. The follow- RECONVENED ing were present: Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor A11an V. Everard, Councilman H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Councilman Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Lawrence.J. Robbins, Village Manager Dolor es R. Walker, Village Clerk Vice-Mayor Be11 and Councilman Watt were absent. Mayor Lewis stated that the purpose of the Public Hearing was PURPOSE OF to hear the pros and cons on Bill No. 82, which is a proposed PUBLIC HEARING amendment to Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 20, amending the requirements for minimum access stairways in buildings two stories or greater in height. Village Clerk read legal notice of Public Hearing, which was LEGAL NOTICE published in the Palm Beach Post on November 19, 1969 and READ posted as required by charter. Mayor Lewis asked if there was any opposition to this bill and there was none. On motion of Councilman Privett, seconded by Councilman - BILL N0. 82 Everard, all present voting aye, that Bi11 No. 82 be placed PLACED ON AGENDA on the agenda for the Regular Meeting of December 11, 1969 FOR 12/11/69 for second and final reading. REGULAR MEETING On motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by Councilman ADJOURNMENT Privett, all present voting aye, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 8:52 p.m. Minutes recorded by Dolores R.
