Absent: Thomas R. Bell, Vice-Mayor
Allan V. Everard, Councilman
Mayor Lewis called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:25 p.m. ROLL CALL
and asked 'the Village Clerk to call the roll, all members
being present except Vice-Mayor Bell, who was i11, and
Councilman Everard, who was excused because of personal
business.

On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman 9/24/68
Clark, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES OF
Meeting held Tuesday, September 24, 1968 and the minutes REG. MEETING;
of Public Hearing held Thursday, September 26, 1968 were 9/26/68
approved as writ-ten; and the minutes of Special. Meeting MINUTES OF
held Tuesday, October 1, 1968 were approved as read. PUBLIC HEARING

There was a contingent from Girl Scout Troop 329 present CONTINGENT.
at this meeting to observe the operation of "Government FROM GIRL
in the Sunshine." SCOUT TRP. 329
Mayor Lewis stated that the "Action Teens" are vigorously CONSTRUCTION
making plans for our Village float. Village Manager OF VILLAGE
is getting quotations on various materials and equipment FLOAT BY
for the float for the "Action Teens." and they-will start "ACTION TEENS"
construction of the float in the near future.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman
C1a.rk, all present voting aye, the minutes of Special
Meeting of Planning and Zoning Advisory Board held
September 25, 1968, and the minutes of Beautification
Committee meeting held September 25, 1968 were accepted
by Council.

in the amount of $248,890.00, said bid having met all bid LASSITER IN
specifications. AMT. OF

There being no further business to come before the Council, ADJOURNMENT
on motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman
Watt, all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at
8:50 p.m.
