VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

ROLL CALL
Mayor Manuel called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. All members of Council were present,
except President Pro Tem Aubrey, who had a meeting conflict and arrived at 10:06. All
members of staff were present, except the Village Attorney.
DECLARATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY RESCINDED
Mr. Knight distributed an After Action Report on Tropical Storm Fay.
Mr. Knight advised that due to Tropical Storm Fay, data connectivity was down at the Country
Club, Public Works Department, and Recreation Department.
Councilman Eissey moved to rescind the Declaration of Local Emergency. Vice Mayor Norris
seconded the motion, and Councilman Eissey, Vice Mayor Norris, Councilman Hernacki, and
Mayor Manuel voted aye.
The Budget Workshop previously scheduled for 8/19/2008 was rescheduled to 8/21/08.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
