MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1967
Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor
Thomas R. Bell, Vice -Mayor
David C. Clark, Councilman
Allan V. Everard, Councilman
Herbert A. Watt, Councilman
Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney
Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager
Mayor Lewis called the Special Session to order at 9:25 p.m. and
asked the Village Manager to call the roll, all members being
present.
ROLL CALL
Mayor Lewis stated that the purpose of the Special Session was PURPOSE OF
to review proposal submitted by the following land planners and SPECIAL SESSION
to adopt a. resolution selecting one.
Proposals reviewed:
Goldberg and Associates
Adley and Associates
Mel Conner and Associates
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vice -Mayor Bell, all
present voting aye, Council assigned the name of Mel Conner and
Associates to proposed Resolution No. 323-67.
On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 323-67 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH MEL CONNER & ASSOCIATES, INC. IN
BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FOR LAND
PLANNING SERVICES
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 323-67.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vice -Mayor Bell, all
present voting aye, the Special Session was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.

HOWARD H. HARRISON, JR. was sworn in as Municipal Judge of the Village
of North Palm Beach, Florida, on December 5, 1967 by Mayor Thomas F.
Lewis, and the Honorable HOWARD H. HARRISON, JR. was robed as Municipal
Judge.

I, HOWARD H. HARRISON, JR. , do solemnly swear
that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Govern-
ment of the United States and of the State of Florida, against all
enemies, domestic or foreign, and that I will bear true faith, loyalty
and allegiance to the same, and that I am entitled to hold office
under the Constitution; that I will faithfully perform all the duties
of the office of Municipal Judge of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, on which I am about to enter, so help me God.
