Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order at 8:.10 p.m. and ROLL CALL

own contractor. He said that bath state and county health -
authorities have approved his plans, that construction
financing is in sight and that much of the personnel has
been lined up.
On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Vice-Mayor 6/28/66 MINUTES

Regular Meeting of June 28, 1966 were approved as
written.
Mayor Lewis stated that the Village Council of North PERSONAL PROPERTY
Palm Beach sloes not see the need this year for personal TAX IN VILLAGE

Village Clerk Eassa presented Council with minutes 6/13/66 MIIWTES OF _ -
of Recreation Advisory Board meeting held June 13, 1966 RECREATION ADVISORY
which were accepted by Council. BOARD
' Council was opposed to five days per week for the tennis
clinic as proposed by the Recreation Advisory Board.
Their contention was that three days per week is suf-
ficient unless Recreation Advisory Board can justify • _
the five-day week.

N0. 122-65, CONCERNING DETAILED APPROPRIATIONS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1965-66 -
was placed on first reading and read in full.
Mayor Lewis stated that Council. would be aeting_.on
Bill No. 7 which is realignment of our budget structure.
Council hopes that this is all that will be necessary
for the fiscal year. The need for this is to correct
accounts that were provided last year and provide the
Village with sufficient monies in various accounts which
could become short. The Village is taking money from
accounts which are surplus and moving to other accounts. _-
This is the first year, Mayor Lewis stated, that the
Village did not have to borrow money and we should
also finish with a slight surplus.'

Village Attorney Gildan apprised Council of outcome of
litigation of The Village of North Pa]sn Beach v. North
Palm Beach Utilities, Inc. Village lost, but plans to
file petition for rehearing on this matter.
With no further business to come before the Council, on
motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Clark,
all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at
10:45 p.m.
