MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
TUESDA'Y, DECEMBER 6, 1966

Vice -Mayor Bell called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. and asked
the Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being present except
Mayor Lewis.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councliman Everard, ail
present voting aye, Council authorized the Village Manager, through
the Recreation Advisory Board, to award a $10 first prize and a $5
second prize, respectively, for the best overall decoration, the
best religious theme, and the best doorway on the evening of Thursday,
December 29, 1966, starting at 7:00 p.m. Also, Council authorized
the Village Manager to disburse $30 for candy to be distributed from
a sleigh to the children of the Village on Saturday, December 17, 1966
starting at 9:30 a.m.
Council presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr, Paul A. Emond
for his past service as a member of the Recreation Advisory Board.
With no further business to come before the Council, on motion of
Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Everard, all present voting
aye, the Special Session was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
