MIN[JTES OF A SFECLAL MEETING OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAI1Q BEACH
HELD TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 1965
PRESENT: Harold ~. Beery, Mayor
Thomas F. Lewis, Vice-Mayor
Thomas R. Bell, Councilman
Herbert A. Watt, Councilman
Leslie 0. Churchill, Councilman
Frank R. Spence, Village Manager
and Village Clerk
ABSENT: Herbert Gildan, Village Attorney
Mayor Beery called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and asked ROIL CALL
the Clerk to call the roll, all members of the Council being
present, and Village Attorney, absent. Mayor Beery stated the
purpose of the special meeting was to consider bids received for
the sandblasting and recoating of the N.P.B. Country Club swimming
pool and to award the contract for the work as soon as possible so --
that the work could begin and be completed before the season starts.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Lewis, seconded by Councilman Watt, all POOL WORK
members voting aye, the contract to sandblast and repaint the pool CONTRACT
was awarded to the low bidder, Walden Paint and Sandblasting Company,AWARDED
at a price of X5,305.24, subject to final approval by the Building WALDEN
Official of the products to be used and the plan of procedure to be
followed by the contractor. A tabulation of the bids received was
read, as follows:

On motion of Councilman Churchill, seconded by Vice-Mayor Lewis, all
members voting aye, the special meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
