MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
held
June 6, 1962

At the call of Mayor Walter E. Thomas, a special meeting of the
Village Council was held on June 6, 1962, at 10:00 o'clock p.m. in the
Village Hall for the purpose of considering proposed Ordinance #75 was
amended by adding the word "E" to sub -paragraph b. of paragraph I of
Section I.
On motion of Vice Mayor Bowman, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all
members voting aye, proposed Ordinance #75 as amended was placed on second
reading and read in full.
On motion of Vice -Mayor Bowman, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all
members voting aye, proposed Ordinance #75 as amended and entitled
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
#20, BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
VILLAGE BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE CIA
LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND R-3 APARTMENT DWELL-
ING DISTRICT AND RE-CLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS
C-1A LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND/OR R-3
APARTMENT DWELLING DISTRICT; BY DIRECTING THE VILLAGE
CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP UP TO DATE; BY
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
was enacted.
The Village Manager was authorized to contribute $200. to the
Riviera Beach Jay -Gees Fourth -of -July inter -city cooperative fireworks
program.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. on motion of Vice -Mayor
Bowman, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all members voting aye.
