MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
held
April 24, 1962
Present: Walter E. Thomas, Mayor
Charles M. Bowman, Vice-Mayor
Louis J. Aiello, Jr., Councilman
Warren P. Tatoul, Councilman
Frank J. Hahn, Councilman
Albin R. Olson, Village Manager
and Clerk
Absent: C. Robert Burns, Village Attorney
Mayor Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. and
requested the Clerk call the roll.
The matter of the Village contributing a portion of the cost of
a baseball field lighting program in conjunction with the summer Little
League program was discussed..
On motion of Councilman Aiello, seconded by Councilman Tatoul, all
members voting aye, the Village Manager was instructed to pay North Palm
Beach Youth Baseball, Inc., the sum of $1,800. for the purpose of con-
structing a temporary Little League baseball field lighting system on the
baseball field presently being constructed immediately east of Laurel
Court provided North Palm Beach Youth Baseball, Inc., receive (a) written
approval of the baseball field lighting plan from-the nine (9) resident
property owners adjacent the field,- (b) approval from the Qwner of the
ball field property to install the lighting system, and (c) permission
for an access road leading onto the ball field proper.
On motion o£ Vice-Mayor Bowman, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all
members voting aye, proposed Resolution #133 authorizing the Mayor and
Village Clerk to sign a contract with Atlas Air Conditioning Corporation
was adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
