MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH HELD
May 25, 1961

Mayor Thomas called a special meeting of the Village Council on May 23, 1961,.
at 8:00 p.m. in the Village Hall for the purpose of considering a proposed plat known
Yacht Club Addition.
The Village Council reviewed all aspects of the plat and requested the
following changes:

That provision be made on the plat to provide for the installa-
tion of headwalls at the points of drainage into Lake Worth,
That easements be identified as either utility or drainage
easements, as the case may be.
That Anchorage Drive be paved to a twenty-four foot (249 width,
That the plat indicate no plantings, buildings, or structures
be permitted in the drainage easements,
That a temporary turn -around be provided for at the
alley,
That the traffic lanes on Lighthouse Drive be paved
feet wide and the center planting strip be curbed.

The following motion of Vice -Mayor Newell, seconded by Councilman Bowman,
all members voting aye, was adopted: That the proposed plat of Yacht Club Addition
together with the development plan thereof as modified and agreed to by the developers
in accordance with notes thereof hereto attached be approved and the Village Manager
be authorized to execute the plat on advice by the Village Attorney that a satis-
factory agreement in lieu of a bond had been secured from the developers.
A motion of Vice -Mayor Newell that the offer to dedicate for park purposes
that area marked "Not Included" on plat of Yacht Club Addition as previously made by
the developers of said Yacht Club Addition be accepted in principle subject to the
Village Attorney procuring the offer in satisfactory form from the developers, was
seconded by Councilman Bowman, and adopted with all members voting aye.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was
