1996-48 Amends Parking in C-1 Zoning District ORDINANCE NO. Q8-96 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THAT PORTION OF SUBSECTION E (2) OF SECTION 45-33, C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, OF ARTICLE ZII OF APPENDIX C-ZONING, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE RELATING TO PARKING SPACES REQUIRED FOR GENERAL BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL OR PERSONAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, f, u FLORIDA: Section 1. The portion of Subsection E (2) of Section 45-33, C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District, of Article III of Appendix C-Zoning, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village, relating to parking spaces required for general business, commercial or personal service establishments is hereby amended to read as follows: "E. Off-street Parking Regulations 2. For general business, commercial or personal service establishments, one (1) space for each two hundred (200) square feet of nonstorage first floor area, plus one (1) space for each two hundred (200) square feet of nonstorage area above the first floor." Section 2. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is for any reason held by a Court to be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holdings shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance. Section 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately ., upon passage.
