AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE A CERTAIN AREA OF PROPERTY
CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 2.29 ACRES LOCATED WEST OF THE
INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY AND NORTH OF HARBOR POINT MARINA; PROVIDING
A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED;
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE VILLAGE TO INCLUDE SAID
PROPERTY; DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE
VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, hereby annexes to the Village a compact,
contiguous parcel of land of approximately 2.29 acres located West
of the Intracoastal Waterway and North of Harbor Point Marina and
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part
hereof.
Section 2. The boundary lines of the Village of North Palm

Beach, Florida, are hereby redefined to include the above-described
property and said property is hereby declared to be within the
corporate limits of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida.

section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
• notice of the voluntary annexation at least once each week for two
(2) consecutive weeks immediately preceding the passage of this
Ordinance in a newspaper published in the Village, or, if no
newspaper is published in the Village, then in a newspaper
published in Palm Beach County, and otherwise comply with the
requirements of Florida Statute, Section 171.044.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.

A parcel of land lying iu the southeast quaver of Section 5, Township 42 Sourh, Range 43
East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of said Section S; thence South
88°34'32" East along the South line of the southeast quarter (the South lme of the southeast
quarter is taken to bear South 88°34'32" East and all other bearings stated herein are relative
thereto) a distance of 841.10 feet to the East lino of the West half of the West half of the
