1996-23 Surety Bond for CC Administrator• ORDINANCE NO. 23-96
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 2-42 OF ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 2,
ADMINISTRATION OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, TO PROVIDE THAT THE COUNTRY CLUB MANAGER OR THE COUNTRY
CLUB ADMINISTRATOR SHALL GIVE A GOOD AND SUFFICIENT SURETY COMPANY
BOND TO THE VILLAGE PRIOR TO ENTERING UPON AND PERFORMING THEIR
RESPECTIVE DUTIES; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 2-42 of Article I of Chapter 2,
Administration, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of North
• Palm Beach is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-42. Bonds required of certain officers
The following named Village officials shall each,
before entering upon the duties of their respective
offices, give a good and sufficient surety company bond
to the Village, duly approved by the Village attorney,
and conditioned upon the faithful performance and
discharge of their respective duties, and for the proper
application and payment of all money or property coming
into their hands by virtue of their offices in the
following amounts:
(I) Village Manager, two hundred thousand dollars
($200,000.00).
(2) Village Treasurer, two hundred thousand dollars
($200,000.00).
(3) Village Clerk, ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
(4) Village Tax Collector, two hundred thousand dollars
($200,000.00).
• (5) Country Club Manager or Country Club Administrator,
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00)."
• Section 2. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
