ORDINANCE 22-96
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 2-26, ORDER OF BUSINESS, OF ARTICLE I1, OF
CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE 1'O
PROVIDE. THAT DECLARATION OF EX PARTE COMMUNICATIONS SHALL BE AN
AllD]TIONAL ORDER OF BUSINESS; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF AI,I,
ORll]NANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING
}'OR AN EPFF,CTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 2-26, Order of Business, of Article II of Chapter 2, Administration,
of the ('ode of Ordinances of the Village is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Scction 2-26. Order of business.
7'he following order shall be observed in the
transaction of business, but such order may be
varied by unanimous consent of the councilmen present:
(1) Roll call;
(2) Invocation;
(3) Pledge of allegiance;
(4) Approval of minutes;
(5) Report of mayor;
(6) Statements from the public;
• (7) Petitions and communications;
(8) Reports of special committees and
• recommendations of advisory boards;
(9) Village manager's report;
(10) Declaration of Ex Parte Communications;
(11) Ordinances;
(12) Resolutions;
(13) Miscellaneous business;
(14) Adjournment."
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
