ORDINANCE NO. 3-88
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO
Tl1E VILLAGE CERTAIN AREAS OF PROPERTY; PROVIDING A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE
PROPERTY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED; REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE TO
INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, hereby annexes
to the Village a compact, contiguous parcel of land as described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. The boundaries of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, are hereby redefined to include the above -described property and said
property is hereby declared to be within the corporate limits of the Village of
North Palm Beach, Florida.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of
the voluntary annexation at least once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks
immediately preceding the passage of this Ordinance in a newspaper published in
the Village, or if no newspaper is published in the Village, then in a newspaper
published in Palm Beach County, and to otherwise comply with the requirements
of Florida Statutes, Section 171.044.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after the date of passage.

DESCRIPTION
A parcel of land being in Government Lots 7 and 8, Section 4,
Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida
together with Lot 7 and a portion of Lot 6 of "Plat of
Subdivision of Gov't Lot 8 - Section 4, T., 42 S., R. 43 E.", as
recorded in Plat Book 18, Page 4 of the Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Government Lot 7, same
point also being the Northwest corner of said "Plat of
Subdivision of Gov't Lot 8"; thence North 01°35'39" East along
the West line of said Government Lot 7, a distance of 356.07
feet; thence South 85°38'02" East, a distance of 765.13 feet to a
Po1NT OF INTERSECTION with the Westerly Right -of -Way Line of
State Road Number 5 (also known as U.S. Highway Number 1) as now
laid out and in use, as shown in Plat Book 2, Page 113 of the
said Public Records and as further modified by State Road
Department of Florida "Disclaimer" for State Road Number 5,
Section 93040-2112 dated January 3rd, 1962 on file at the State
Road Department of Florida offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
said point being on the are of a curve concave to the Northeast
(at which point the radius bears South 85°32'04" East) having a
radius of 1970.08 feet and a central angle of 20°23'29"; thence
Southeasterly along the arc of said curve, same line also being
the said Westerly Right -of -Way Line of State Road Number 5, a
distance of 701.15 feet to a POINT OF INTERSECTION with the
Easterly projection of the North line of Lot 6 of said "Plat of
Subdivision of Gov't Lot 8"; thence North 88008'06" Wegt, along
the North line of said Lot 6 and the Easterly projection thereof,
a distance of 531.75 feet; thence South 01°23'37" East, a
distance of 125.01 feet; thence North 88°08'18" West along 'a line
25 feet, more or less, North of the centerline of Caroline
Avenue, as now laid out and in use, a distance of 199.94 feet to
a POINT OF INTERSECTION with the Easterly Right -of -Way Line of
Ellison -Wilson Road, as now laid out and in use having a total
Right -of -Way width of 66.00 feet; thence North 01°22'26" West
along the said Easterly Right -of -Way Line of Ellison -Wilson Road,
same line also being the Westerly line of Lots 6 and 7 of said
"Plat of Subdivision of Gov't Lot 8", a distance of 492.84 feet
to the Northwest corner of said Lot 7 of "Plat of Subdivision of
Gov't Lot 8"; thence North 87°20'06" West along the South line of
said Gov't Lot 7 same line also being the North line of said
"Plat of Subdivision of Gov't Lot 8", a distance of 102.48 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING, LESS the said 66.00 foot Right -of -Way
for Ellison -Wilson Road.
Containing 31.88 Acres, more or less (NOT including Ellison -
Wilson Road Right -of -Way)..
SUBJECT to existing Easements, Rights -of -Way,' Restrictions and
reservations of Record.

ONE-HALF OF STATE ROAD NO."5 (U.S. 1)
A parcel of land being in a portion of Government Lot 8, section
4, Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida
Said parcel being a portion of the West One -Half of said State
Road No. 5 as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 113 of said Public
Records of Palm Beach County, Florida and being more described as
follows:
commencing at the Northeast Corner of Lot 7, Plat of Subdivision
Government Lot 8, as recorded in Plat Book 18, Page 4 of said
Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida;
thence South 87°20'06" East along the North line of said
Government Lot 8,' a distance of 44.04 feet to a POINT OF
INTERSECTION with the Westerly Right -of -Way Line of said State
Road No. 5 (U.S. 1) as now laid out and in use, said point being
the POINT OF BEGINNING of this description;
thence continuing South 87°20'06" East along said North line of
Government Lot 8, a distance of 60.62 feet to a POINT OF
INTERSECTION with the centerline of said State Road No. 5 (U.S.
1) said point being on the aro of a curve concave to the
Northeast (a radialbearing at said point bears North 84°18'58"
East) having a radius of 1910.08 and central angle of 10°49'15")
