04-04-1960 VC SP-MMINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIZ OF NORTH PALM BEACH HELD APRIL ~, 1960 ' Present: Jay H. White, Mayor Walter E. Thomas, Vice-Mayor , Richard E. Ross, Councilman William Young, Councilman Louis J. Aiello, Jr., Councilman-elect Frank J. Hahn, Councilman-elect Emery J. Newell, Councilman-elect Albin R. Olson, Village Manager and Clerk Absent: Charles A. Cunningham, Councilman In compliance with Section 9, Article III of the Village Charter, the organi- zational meeting of the Village Council was held at i~he North Palm Beach Country Club at $.00 p.m. Mayor White requested the Clerk read the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council held March 16, 1960. On motion of Councilman Young, seconded by Vice- Mayor Thomas, all members voting aye, the minutes were approved as read. The oath of office was administered Councilmen-elect Louis J. Aiello, Jr., Frank J. Hahn, and Emery J. Newell.. On motion of Councilman Aiello, seconded by Councilman Young, a~ members voting aye, Vice-Mayor Thomas was appointed Mayor. On motion of Covnci]snaaz Newell, seconded by Councilman Aiello, all members ' voting aye, Councilman Young was appointed Vice-Mayor. On motion of Vice-Mayor Young, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all members voting aye, Resolution x'78 entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, .- PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS FOR SUCH VILLAGE. was adopted.
