THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL COUNCIL CHAMBER
ON NNE 17, 1957, AT 3:00 P.M.
Charles A. Cunningham, Mayor
Richard E. Ross, Vice Mayor
Herbert A. Ross, Councilman
Jay H. White, Councilman
C. Robert Burns, Village Attorney
Robert C. Tufford, Village Clerk
Albin R. Olson, Village Manager
Absent: John A. MacArthur, Councilman
The following letter addressed to the Village Council was read
by the Village Clerk:
June 11, 1957
Village Council
North Palm Beach, Florida
Attn: Honorable Richard E. Ross, Vice -Mayor
Gentlemen:
Due to my many other commitments, I regret I cannot
continue as a member of the North Palm Beach Council.
Hence, I hereby resign as a Council Member. Rest
assured I will cooperate in any way I can.

On motion of Vice Mayor Ross, seconded by Councilman White, all
members voting aye, Resolution #22 (See Resolution Book #1, page 22) entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION
#21 APPOINTING HERBERT A. ROSS AS A MEMBER OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL TO SERVE DURING THE ABSENCE OF JOHN
A. SCHWENCKE
was adopted.
On motion ofVice Mayor Ross, seconded by Councilman White, all
members voting aye, Resolution #23 (See Resolution Book #1, page 23) entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE RESIGNA-
TION OF JOHN A. MacARTHUR AS VILLAGE COUNCILMAN AND
APPOINTING HERBERT A. ROSS AS A SUCCESSOR
was adopted.
On motion of Vice Mayor Ross, seconded by Councilman White, all
members voting aye, Resolution #24 (See Resolution Book #1, page 24) entitled
was adopted.
