ROLL CALL
Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. All members of Council were present,
except Vice Mayor Eissey and Councilman O'Meilia. All members of staffwere present.
PARKING VIOLATION CODE AMENDMENT
Discussion took place concerning a proposed amendment to Chapter 5, Boats, Docks and
Waterways, Article II, Boat Launching Area of the Village Code of Ordinances to regulate
vehicles using marina facilities without a permit and vehicles parking in trailer parking spaces.
Public Safety Director Jimmy Knight discussed the proposed fine structure for parking violations
at Anchorage Marina. Chief Knight reported that Palm Beach County has offered to administer
the parking violation fine collection process for a nominal fee. This item was forwarded to a
Regular Session.
Discussion took place concerning recommendations of the Waterways Board.
AMERICA SUPPORTING AMERICANS ADOPT-A-UNIT PROGRAM
Discussion was held regarding the America Supporting Americans Adopt-A-Unit Program, in
which the Village would adopt a U.S. military unit. This item will come back to another
Workshop Session for further discussion when a full Council is present.
COUNCIL MATTERS
Discussion took place concerning broadcasting of Village Council and Board meetings on cable
television and the Internet. Councilman Grinn will obtain more information on this subject,
which will be brought back to a Workshop Session when a full Council is present.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
