ORDINANCE NO. 23-80
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PAU'1 BEACH CODE, THE BUILDING
CODE FOR THE VILLAGE, BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THERETO THE FLORIDA MODEL
ENERGY EFFICIENCY CODE FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, MAY 1980 EDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 6 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"ARTICLE VI. ENERGY EFFICIENCY BUILDING CODE"
"Section 6-150. ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. Under the authority
of Section 163.295, Florida Statutes, the Village of North
Palm Beach hereby adoptes by reference thereto the Florida
Model Energy Efficiency Code, for Building Construction,
May 1980 Edition, as the energy code for the Village. There
has been for at least ten days last past and shall be during
the time that this code is in effect, three copies of such
code and recommended amendments kept available for public use,
inspection and examination."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.

PLACED ON PUBLIC HEARING THIS 9TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1980.
PLACED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSED THIS 9TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1980.
