MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SESSION
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
JUNE 28, 2007

ROLL CALL
Mayor Eissey called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present, except Village Clerk Melissa Teal, who was on vacation.
REOUEST FOR ATTORNEY -CLIENT SESSION
On behalf of the litigation attorney for Employer's Mutual Insurance, Village Attorney Len
Rubin requested a private Attorney -Client Session to discuss pending litigation concerning Ian
McInnes v. Village of North Palm Beach/Employer's Mutual Insurance.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED ATTORNEY -CLIENT SESSION
Mayor Eissey announced that at this time the Village Council would recess for the purpose of
holding a closed Attorney -Client Session. Mayor Eissey announced all persons who would be in
attendance at this Session. Mr. Eissey estimated that the Attorney -Client Session would last
approximately twenty five minutes.
RECESS
Mayor Eissey recessed the Special Session at 7:05 p.m. The Special Session reconvened at 7:25 p.m.,
with all members of Council present. At this time, Mayor Eissey announced that the Attomey-
Client Session had adjourned. President Pro Tem Norris moved to accept the settlement that was
reached during mediation. Vice Mayor Manuel seconded the motion and all present voted aye.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
