ORDINANCE NO, 6-79
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, THE
BUILDING CODE FOR THE VILLAGE, BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THERETO TIIE
FLORIDA MODEL ENERGY EFFICIENCY CODE FOR BUILDIG CONSTRUCTION, 1978
EDITION, INCLUDING ALTERNATE PAGE 1-2A, 1-4A, 5-15A, 5-16A AND 5-17A,
6-4A AND 6-5A AND THE FEBRUARY 28, 1979 ADDENDA, THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 6 of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Article VI to read as follows:
"ARTICLE VI. ENERGY EFFICIENCY BUILDING CODE"
"Section 6-150. ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. Under the
authority of Section 163.295, Florida Statutes,
the Village of North Palm Beach hereby adopts by
reference thereto the Florida Model Energy Efficiency
Code, for Building Construction, 1978 Edition, in-
cluding Alternate pages 1-2A, 1-4A, 5-15A, 5-16A,
5-17A, 6-4A and 6-5A and the February 28, 1979 Addenda,
thereto, as the energy code for the Village. There
has been for at least ten days last past and shall be
during the time that this code is in effect, three
copies of such code and recommended amendments kept
available for public use, inspection and examination."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
